Anyone reading this watched American Idol Season 11? When this post was written, one person had already been eliminated from the Top 13. So who's your fave?
Personally, I love Phillip Phillips and Hollie Cavanagh. They both are talented and their performances were outstanding. I started to like Elise Testone after watching her semi-final round performance, where she sang One and Only by Adele with a piano. She sounded so good. I like her Top 13 performance too (she sang I'm Your Baby Tonight by Whitney Houston) although the judges didn't like it so much and so did America when she was placed in the bottom 2. Glad she didn't get booted off the show.
I started to like Jessica Sanchez too after her rendition of Whitney's I Will Always Love You. I didn't like her at first because she tend to go over the top with her songs but during Top 13 performance night, she kept her cool and sang beautifully. She was my 'goosies' moment of the night. Another surprise performance was from Deandre Brackensick. His rendition of Stevie Wonder's Master Blaster (Jammin') was really great. I almost got off my seat and dance.
I wonder if a male contestant would win again this season. There had been a male winner for the past 4 seasons! Hollie and Jessica seem to have big fan base, but so does it seemed for Phillip and Colton. Can the females rule this season? I wonder....
