Still waiting for Harry

Yes, I'm still patiently waiting for Harry Potter new movie to come out. What a long wait. Well, to keep me (and you too perhaps) company, I have here another trailer of Half Blood Prince. I had posted one trailer before, if you want to watch it, please dig for it in the movie labels.

So, here it is (thanx IGN). It has already been online for quite some time, so most of you would probably have watched it. But I hope you would still enjoy it. ;-P

We're still waiting for you Harry! Come back soon!

Narnia needs a new dad

I read an article in IGN the other day about the Narnia movie franchise. Apparently, Disney had pulled out as the series distributor. Why? Part of the reason is because of the fewer box-office returns of the 2nd movie, Prince Caspian, compared to its predecessor, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. In other words, Walden Media, the production company, needs to find a new distributor for the next movie in the franchise.

As a result, fans will have to wait a little bit longer to watch the 3rd movie in the series, The Voyage of the Dawn Trader, on the silver screen. Worst case, the movie will not be made at all (gasp!). But hopefully that will not be true because to be honest, I believe Narnia franchise has a lot of potential. So fingers crossed! Click here to read more from the article.

By the way, thanx to this site for the Narnia logo. I'm not sure whether its legal or not to post it here because of copyright issue but if anybody knows that its not, please inform me and I will take it off immediately. Thank you.

And the award goes to...

I think I'm not too late to congratulate the winners of Anugerah Juara Lagu ke-23 (translated as The 23rd Champion of Songs Awards in English). I know most of you are not from Malaysia, so here's a bit info of the event;

  • One of the big music event in Malaysia.
  • Hosted by TV3 every year since 1986.
  • The songs are taken from a chart (which is based on popular votes from the audience) of a weekly music show aired on TV3.
  • 30 songs with the highest votes will compete in semi-finals and 12 of them (sometimes the number change due to producer discretion) will compete in the finals.
  • The songs competing in semi-finals and finals will be scored by selected judges.
Here is the list of the winners;

  • Best Song (overall) ~ Lagu Untukmu performed by Meet Uncle Hussein, composed by Taja, Tass & Lan, lyrics by Taja & Tass.
  • Best Song for Pop Rock ~ Lagu Untukmu performed by Meet Uncle Hussein, composed by Taja, Tass & Lan, lyrics by Taja & Tass.

Congratulations! If you missed the show, you can watch it at TV3 official website, but I'm afraid you have to register first to watch it.

The war has to stop!

Hi guys! I'm so sorry for being a little bit slow in updating my blog this month. It just that the war in Gaza has been very emotionally-draining experience, even if I'm just watching the action on TV and newspapers miles and miles away from the actual place!!! This is so insane! How many lives do they have to sacrifice? They just keep on killing people like lives has no meaning to them. Human lives are valuable ok!

Don't they have moral values...or BRAIN maybe?

Claire Redfield & Leon S. Kennedy back in action

Yes, Claire and Leon are back together again to fight zombies. Aahh...so romantic.

Resident Evil Degeneration is another movie in the Resident Evil franchise. To stay true to the original storyline, this movie will follow plot from the video games instead of the Resident Evil movie trilogy which starred Milla Jovovich. That would be brilliant! Since it's an animation, so it would be logic for them to follow the original story.

The movie had been released in the US in December 2008 and will be release in UK this January. I'm not sure when will it arrive in other countries. Last time I checked in video stores there's no RE Degeneration in line. But I think it will arrive soon...if not later.

Check out these cool images from the movie. Fantastic right? You can check more if you visit their website, just click here to go there. Want more? Guess what, you can even watch the first 8 minutes of the movie there, plus some other things to check out. Cool!

Here's the trailer for you to enjoy. It looks awesome. I bet you don't even need to be the video games fan to enjoy this. I'm in a very tight budget this couple of months but I think I will still buy this movie once I get my hands on it. :-p

So Hot? Totally!

It's time for Wonder Girls again! This is by far my favorite single from them. It's called So Hot (yeah, they're hot all right!).

I must confess, although I love them, but it's kinda hard to tell them apart. I recognize Yubin, the rapper, and Sohee, the girl in the limousin in the video. But the other 3 look kinda alike. I really like the girl with the bicycle, I think that's Sunye. If I'm not mistaken, she's like the main vocal in the group. I love her! The cheerleader I think is Ye-eun while the girl with a lot of presents is...er...I think it's Sunmi. Did I get that right? Is there any Wonder fan out there who can confirm this? Anyone? Eh?

There is one thing that disappoint me about them though, they forgot about their fans in Malaysia! I know there are a lot more fans out there that are from Malaysia, other than me of course. I mean, they have been to Thailand and Singapore to promote themselves but not Malaysia. Okay, okay, actually I don't really mind if they didn't come to Malaysia, it's hard for me to go to their concert or any promotional activities anyway, but I can't even find their albums here and that's frustrating. I don't know about other places in Malaysia, like Kuala Lumpur, but I definitely cannot find them here in Penang.

Okay, I will stop my complaining now. It's time to enjoy the Wonder hits. Here is Wonder Girls with So Hot. Enjoy!

McKey is America's Next Top Model!

At last! Channel V had finished airing the 11th cycle of America's Next Top Model and McKey is the winner. Congratulations McKey! You are totally a star! I'd been holding myself back from visiting ANTM website or any ANTM-related site to avoid any spoilers and I did it. This is the 1st time I had watch an ANTM cycle without knowing the winner. Congratz to me too! LOL.

Anyway, I kinda knew that McKey would win this cycle because the judges always love her pictures and she had never been in the bottom 2 (not even when they were only 3 of them!). Plus, the judges always said that she already looks like a model and never (if not rarely) say the same thing to the other girls. I was rooting for Analeigh actually but I knew she couldn't win against McKey, she's too...perfect! But I'm glad that Analeigh reached the Top 3. I'm gonna miss you girl!

So now I can continue my review and give my personal comments on this cycle. The last review was at episode 5. Hence, for the next ANTM post, it would be episode 6, the LA disasters photoshoot. See you then!

Happy New Year 2009!

Happy New Year!!! 2008 came & went, I can't believe how fast the time passed. And now it's already 2009!

So what are my new year resolutions for 2009? To be a better person. To help my family with whatever problems that they (or we) might have to face. To have a great career and bring a better life for my family. And world peace. Hope all of this will come true. Amin.

Happy holidays y'all!
