Here they come Taiwan!

Hi guys, I'm back from my holidays! So here is the recap of The Amazing Race Asia season 3 episode 4.

And so they went to Taiwan.

In the beginning of the leg, the teams learned that they must fly to Taipei, Taiwan. So off they went to the airport only to find out that it was closed. All the teams spent their night at the airport but Ida & Tania decided to go to the hotel lobby. Wow, classy! Anyway they didn't missed the flight and all the teams flew to Taiwan via Ho Chi Minh.

In previous leg, all they need to do were take a cab or they were provided a driver (and just navigate the way) but now they need to drive a marked car and find their way. And so they made their way to the Detour, and ,must choose between Shoot It or Shape It. The busy road of Taipei and confusing road signs gave headaches to the racers but finally they manage to arrive at their destination...except for Niroo and Kapil who were kinda late because they got their car key stuck at the ignition. I wonder what happened?

All the teams picked Shoot It except A.D. & Fuzzie who picked Shape It. In Shoot It, teams need to shoot a picture with a Sony Cybershot digital camera in the Miniatures Museum without knowing what to shoot at. Their only clue, they will know it once they see it. It turned out to be a super-mini (seriously!) miniature of The Amazing Race clue envelope. While in Shape It, teams must go to Raohe Street Night Market and solve four sets of figures using a large tangram set. A.D & Fuzzie sure made it looked easy.

Then, they must drive to the Institute of the Blind for their next clue. Once there, they learned that their clue was written in Braille. One member of the team must read the Braille clue while the other decodes it. Henry & Bernie were having problems with the clue and they spent quite some time at the institute. Meanwhile, Sam & Vince got the special clue envelope and present the institute with a US$20,000 donation.

After that, teams had to face a difficult Roadblock...eating a large bowl of stinky tofu! Seriously, just looking at Ida, Oliver & Tisha completing the task made me wanna puke. I even wonder if the cooking is Halal. Anyway, Ida managed to finish it and Tania & her became the first team to arrive at the pitstop, which was at City Hall Square in Taipei. Sam & Vince were 2nd, Mai & Oliver were 3rd, Henry & Bernie were 4th, A.D & Fuzzie were 5th (they can also be considered 4th if u ask me since they team up with Henry & Bernie in finding the pitstop) and Tisha & Geoff were 6th.

Kapil did not complete the Roadblock task and Niroo & him made their way to the pitstop. Since they were last to arrive, so Niroo & Kapil were eliminated from the race.
