The new 1 million star!

Who's got what it takes to become the new millionaire star? The question will be answered in One In A Million 2 Finals that will be aired on 8tv, Friday 29 February 2008 at 9 p.m.
It's now down to 3 finalists, Sarah, Shila and Ayu. One of them will be eliminated in the early of the finals and only two will be allowed to compete for the RM1 million prize. However, I really hope they will allow the 3 of them to compete like they did with Faizal Tahir in Season 1. I mean, all 3 of them are really talented. It's sure going to be hard to pick the winner.
For those OIAM2 fans, don't forget to watch the finals. I know it's kind of disappointing because it's not going to be aired live (it's going to be aired 30 minutes late) but I'm sure it's gonna be a blast!

Go back in time

Here's a new movie that will hit cinemas near you soon. I'm looking forward to see this movie although there's a buzz in the internet claiming that the fact in this movie is incorrect. I'm not good in history so no comment on that.

The votes are in

American Idol season 7 had started the elimination round this week and 2 boys and 2 girls are already out. They are Garrett Haley and Colton Berry from the boys group, and Amy Davis and Joanne Borgella from the girls group.
This year the competition is tough. I do have some crushes on some of the contestants (because of their talents by the way, not just their looks) but since I cannot vote, there's no point in getting my hopes up.
I really hope that the Americans choose their Idol wisely.

Outwit, Outplay, Outlast

Let the battle begins! The mother of all reality show is now here. Yeah2, I know we're late...again! They already started airing the new Survivor Micronesia: Fans vs Favorites in the US but we are still in the early episodes of Survivor: China. It's a good thing actually since they skipped a couple of Survivor series in Malaysia such as Palau and Fiji. (If they did aired the show, obviously there was not enough publicity since I don't know anything about it) It's kind of disappointing since I'm such a big fan of the show. I really hope they do an Asian version of Survivor like they did with The Amazing Race. I will definitely apply to be a contestant if they ever did one.
You want to see them trying to outplay each other? Watch them at nTV7 (your feel good channel in Malaysia), every Saturday, 10.45 p.m. It's already in its 4th episode, which is airing tonight by the way. So don't forget to watch!!!

The models have arrived

I know we're a little bit late, but hey, better late than never rite. America's Next Top Model Cycle 9 premiered on Channel V last Monday. The catfight...er, I mean the catwalk begins!
See them posing with style every Monday on Channel V (Channel 714, Astro Malaysia) 8 p.m. If you miss it, don't worry, there are lots of repeats.
Oh, by the way, Cycle 10 of ANTM had premiered in the US. Guess it will take a while for it to reach here. Just have to wait then.

Congratz!!!

Congratulations to Adrian & Collin for winning The Amazing Race Asia Season 2!!! You guys proved that nothing is impossible. It was indeed an amazing race. I get goosebumps everytime I watch the teams running for the last pit-stop. It was intense, exciting...I just couldn't describe the feelings! I was sooo happy for them.

Congratulations too to Pamela & Vanessa and Marc & Rovilson for coming in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Pamela & Vanessa, you girls really made me laugh every single week. You girls really made Malaysia proud...and I am proud to be Malaysian. Marc & Rovilson, you guys rock! Winning 8 out of 13 legs of the race, you guys really made history.

Those who missed the last episode of TARA2, better check it out. It's really worth your time.

Jump to the movies!

I watched Jumper yesterday. I give it 3 out of 5 stars. Good special effects, good actors. However, the story is not 'deep' enough. I wish they explain more about the connection between the jumpers and Paladin. Even so, I love to see Jamie Bell in it. He is such a great actor. For those who want an easy ride in the movies, go watch Jumper. No 'save-the-world' kind of stuff.

New movie!

Several new movies are coming out this Thursday and one of them is Vantage Point. Honestly, I had never heard about this film before until I saw the theatrical trailer recently. The trailer looks good and it seems like a good thriller film. The Star had an article about one of the actor in it, the Lost hero Matthew Fox today (17 Feb. 2008). It also stated that they will have another article about the movie sometime later (tomorrow I guess). So for those action-thriller fans, go watch this movie when it comes out...and leave some comments here okay. I'm looking forward to this film too.

I went to Speedy store recently and I saw that the store is selling One Piece Box set for RM12! That's so cheap. In 1 box contains 6 CDs, so it's RM2 per CD! To those One Piece fan, grab this chance now and get them while they still selling it at low price. I'm not sure when the discount will end. So better hurry up!

TARA Season 2 Finale

I don't know about u guys but I'm a fan of The Amazing Race Asia!!! I didn't watch the 1st season due to some reasons (sshhh...it's a secret) but I watched all the episodes for season 2. It's a great show. I know the Malaysian girls won the 1st season, and I'm hoping the same for this season too. I know it's tough, the other 2 teams (Marc & Rovilson and Adrian & Collin) are strong but hey...there's still hope. All the best to my fave team, Pamela & Vanessa.
